Meet Lydia N. Sherman, CNP

Lydia Sherman is a clinician with almost a decade of experience primarily in mental health and chronic illnesses. She is someone that is genuinely passionate about helping people improve their mental and physical well-being.

I  value my clients’ voices and work alongside them to build treatment plans that support their goals. My approach is holistic, grounded in the compassion and empathy that led me into this work. I spend time informing, explaining, and collaborating with clients to build an effective strategy for them.

There’s a real need for thoughtful mental health care, and I’m honored to be part of that journey. My approach is comprehensive, evidence-based practice with an appreciation of how mind and body work together. Overall, a holistic approach to your care.

What brings me peace:
What brings me peace is recognizing that my clients leave my office feeling heard and validated in their treatment plans and goals. And then going home to my family, and friends who have continued to be supportive and caring throughout my journey as a clinician.

What motivates me:
Therapeutic plans that work, and improvements to my clients overall well-being. Seeing improvement, growth, and meaningful change — especially through diversity — is what keeps me motivated.

A few of my favorite things:

-Family and friends.

-Dogs

-Reading and watching movies.

-Walking and working out.
